When/Where to Vote:
Friday May 4 is the last day to vote early (One Stop Voting) at the South Branch of the Rowan Public Library and at the Rockwell American Legion Building, 8:00AM - 6:00PM.
Friday and Saturday, May 4-5 are the last days to vote early (One Stop Voting) at the Rowan County Board of Elections (in West Plaza, old mall, near Badcock Home Furniture Store), Friday 8:00AM - 6:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM - 1:00PM.
No Voting on Monday!!
Tuesday, Primary Election Day. May 8, vote in your assigned precinct voting location, 6:30AM - 7:30PM. If you do not know where to vote, go to the Rowan Board of Elections website or contact their office - https://www.rowancountync.gov/191/Elections or 704-216-8140.
Every Rowan County voter can vote for 3 of 6 County Commissioner candidates and for one candidate for NC Senate 33. Salisbury residents can vote in a referendum on the future of Fibrant.
County Commissioner Candidates are: Greg Edds, Jim Greene, Michael Julian, Judy Klusman, Craig Pierce, and Jim Sides.
NC Senate 33 Candidates are Carl Ford of Rowan County and Bill Sorenson of Stanly County.
During Early Voting (One Stop Voting) citizens can register to vote, change their party affiliation, and report a change of address. On Primary Day (May 8), citizens can NOT register to vote or change their party affiliation.
